Logical Operator

The logical operators 'AND' and 'OR' are used to add multiple conditions while publishing the tags. The added conditions are processed sequentially in the way they are added. The conditions are processed from top to bottom.

  • AND - The AND operator returns the value if both the conditions are met.
For example: In the below image, the tag is being published by default to the selected workgroup "Application Support" along with an added AND condition. The condition is the tag must be published for the Application Support workgroup that belongs to the Location "India". Hence the tag will be published for the workgroup Application Support that belongs to India location.

  • OR - The OR operator returns the value if either one of the conditions are met.
For example: In the below image, the tag is being published by default to the selected workgroup "Application Support" along with an added OR condition. The condition is the tag must be published for the Application Support workgroup or the Location "India". Hence the tag will be published for all the other workgroups apart from India.
