Table selection from a dropdown list offers users a convenient way to navigate through various datasets or categories within a system. Once a table is selected, it auto populates columns and fields related to table. It dynamically populates relevant field information based on the record on which the Application Designer is executing.
Following actions can be performed using Table Selection on Notification Email Template:
Add Table Columns
To add Table Columns, perform the following steps:
Select Table Selection.

Search Table from the list.
The search icon helps to search the required Table.Figure: Add Notification Designer.
Select Table.
All the columns related to the Table is displayed.Figure: Add Notification Designer
Drag and drop the columns on Subject or Email Body.
Note
If an Attachment chip from the Transaction table is on the Template then, it must be replaced with the respective uploaded attachments associated with the given record_id.
Configure Sub Form Widget
A Sub Form Widget within the Notification Template is a powerful tool that has the capability to display any Sub Form Fields in a Grid format.
Example: Let us consider Service Management application which has multiple Catalogs, when a Service Request is logged, all the Fields from the Sub Form / Catalog that is enabled to include in Template is displayed when used as Sub Form Widget.
To configure Sub Form Widget, perform the following steps:
Select Table which has Sub Forms Widget.
Drag and drop the Sub Form Widget on Email Body.

Click gear icon to configure Sub Form Widget.

1. General
Grid Style*
Select either Horizontal Grid or Vertical Grid.
Horizontal: Represents left to right display of Grid for the selected Table elements.
Vertical: Represents top to bottom display of Grid for the selected Table elements.
2. Grid Header
Text Size
Select the Text Size value for Grid Header, the value can be between 0 to 100.
Text Color
Select the Text Color for Grid Header, color can be selected from RGB, HSL or Hex code value.
Background Color
Select the Background Color for Grid Header, color can be selected from RGB, HSL or Hex code value.
Text Style
Select Text Style from the following options:
Bold
Italic
Underline
Text Alignment
Align Grid Header Text using following options:
Left Aligned
Center
Right Aligned
Justified
3. Grid Value
Text Size
Select the Text Size value for Grid Value, between 0 to 100.
Text Color
Select the Text Color for Grid Value, color can be selected from RGB, HSL or Hex code value.
Background Color
Select the Background Color for Grid Value, color can be selected from RGB, HSL or Hex code value.
Text Style
Select Text Style from the following options:
Bold
Italic
Underline
Text Alignment
Align the text of the header using following options:
Left Aligned
Center
Right Aligned
Justified
4. Grid Border
Border Color
Select the Border Color for Grid Header, color can be selected from RGB, HSL or Hex code value.
Padding
Select the padding for Grid Border in the following sides:
Top
Right
Bottom
Left
Click Update.

Click Preview.
