An administrator will configure the Underpinning Contract Specification(UCS) and assign the Service Workgroup. Upon successfully configuring an UCS, an Approver should be a user who is the owner of Service Workgroup to approve UCS.

Process Flow Overview

  • Admin and Approver logins initiate the process.

  • The process starts with configuring the Underpinning Contract Specification (UCS).

  • UCS approval on both source and target leads to Operation Level Agreement (UCA) generation.

  • The process concludes with viewing the UCA and reaching the end.

Prerequisite

Create an Underpinning Contract Specification as an Admin. For more information, refer UCS Configuration.

New UCS Creation

After creating UCS, a success message is displayed. click Ok.

Approve UCS and Create UCA

To Approve an UCS, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Application as an Approver.
    Ensure that you are owner of the Service Workgroup.

  2. Navigate to SLA > User > Underpinning Contract > Underpinning Contract Specification List.
    Underpinning Contract Specification List is displayed which is listed with the UCS that was created as a prerequisite.

  3. Select an UCS configuration which needs to be approved.
    Example: UCS-7

  4. Go to Approvals tab and from the Status dropdown select Approved for Underpinning Contract.

  5. Click Submit to approve the UCS.

  6. Upon approving UCS an UCA for the corresponding UCS is created along with the ID.
    Example: You have approved UCS-7 and and associated UCA is created with UCA-4.

  7. Navigate to SLA > User > Underpinning Contract > Underpinning Level Agreement List.
    UCA List is displayed.

  8. Select the UCA to view the Agreement. UCA for the approved UCS is displayed along with the IDs.
    Example: The UCS was created with UCS-7 ID and you have approved the UCS-7 an UCA-4 is created and is viewed from UCA List.
