User Access Configuration

You can configure the CI user access based on Classification, Location, or both Classification and Location for a Tenant.
To Configure User Access, perform the following steps:
Navigate to CMDB > Configuration > User Access Configuration.

Click Add New on the ACTIONS panel to configure a new User Access Configuration.

On the User Access Configuration page, select the Department. Based on the selected Department, the configured Classifications are displayed under the Classification field.
Specify the User name for which the access is given. You can add multiple users using Add button.
Click Submit.
The User Access Configuration is configured for the selected user(s).
ACTIONS
This section explains all the icons displayed on the ACTIONS panel of the User Access Configuration page.
Filters
Click Filters icon to specify a particular filter criteria to display the user access configuration. On clicking the Filters icon, the Filters popup page is displayed. Specify the filter criteria and click Submit.

The following table describes the fields on the Filters popup page:
Field | Description |

Department | Select the Department. |
Classification | Select the Classification for the CIs. |
Location | Select the location. |
User | Search a user access configuration based on the User Name, Emp ID, E-mail ID, and NT Login ID. |
Show List
Click Show List to display the List table showing all the configured User Access for the selected Department.
To edit the User Access Configuration, select the particular User ID. Make appropriate changes and click Submit.
Note
When the list of User Access Configuration is displayed under the LIST table, the ADD NEW action is displayed on the ACTIONS panel. Click ADD NEW to configure a new User Access Configuration.
