Configure Impact

Utilizing impact levels in Work Order Management helps organizations prioritize and respond to work orders more effectively, leading to improved customer satisfaction, optimized resource utilization, and better overall service delivery.

To configure Impact in WorkOrder, perform the following steps:

1.  Log in to the application.
   
   
2. Navigate to Design Studio > Service Management > Work Order > Configurations > WO SLA Configs > Impact.
   All the configured Impact list is displayed.

3.  Click New.
   The configuration page is displayed.

4. Enter the appropriate details in the required fields.
   
   Refer to the following table for field description:

   Field	Description
   Tenant	Specifies the Tenant name.
   WO Impact	Mentions the Impact of the WorkOrder. Note An effect a WorkOrder has on an individual's / organization's operations, changes, or infrastructure. Understanding it helps IT WO management teams prioritize their response and action.
   Description	Describes about an Impact in WorkOrder.
   Sort Order	Specifies a value to set the sorting position in the WO Impact list section or WO Impact drop-down inside the Group across the Application. Note The Sort Order field accepts values from 0 to 999. Impact is executed alphabetically on the pages irrespective of the number of Impacts that are configured with the same Sort Order or without any sort order. Example If Impact 1 (High) is configured with sort order value 1.  Impact 2 (Very High) is configured with sort order value 2. Impact 1(High) is placed on top of Impact 2(Very High) across all the pages.
   Active	Indicates that the configured Impact is Active on all the pages wherever it is been used.
   Default	Indicates if the WO Impact is set as Default then this value will be considered as Default value when used across the pages.

5. Click Save.
   The configured Impact is displayed on the list.
