Import Configurations by File

The Import Configurations by File feature enables the administrators to import the exported configurations. This avoids the need to add the same configuration in multiple servers, thus saving a lot of time and effort. For example, the administrators can import the configurations to a Production server from a Staging server.

To Import the Configurations by File, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Admin > Infrastructure > Export/Import > Import Configurations by File.
    The IMPORT CONFIGURATIONS BY FILE page is displayed.

  2. Click the Import icon and select the exported configuration file in XML format from the UNC path.
    For more information, see Exporting Configurations by File.

  3. The Master Types and their corresponding categories are displayed. All the Master Types are selected by default. Clear any fields that are not required and click IMPORT.

  4. The Import Configuration By File details are dispalyed.
