The Assets by Floor Report gives a detail account of the allocated assets on each floor of the organization at any point in time. The report has a graphical and tabular view of different types of allocated assets on each floor, their count, and further asset details.

Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

The Assets by Floor Report considers and displays only the allocated assets. The Assets that are in-store, in-transit, or in-repair are not displayed in this report.

Usage

  • Improved Asset Tracking - Quickly identify where assets are physically located within multi-floor facilities.

  • Optimized Space Utilization - Helps facilities and IT teams plan space usage and equipment placement more effectively.

  • Enhanced Maintenance & Support - Enables faster troubleshooting and servicing by knowing exact asset locations.

Example

The Maintenance Team needs to do asset allocations on 3rd floor. Maintenance activities can cause unnecessary disruption to other areas, leading to downtime and inefficiencies. The report showed 50 desktops on the 3rd floor, allowing targeted maintenance on 3rd floor without disrupting other floors.

Steps to access Assets By Floor Report:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management. The Dashboards screen is displayed. Select Fixed Asset Insights.

  2. Navigate to Assets by Floor Report.

    The Assets by Floor Report is displayed. You get a graphical and tabular view of the report. It displays the information on mouse hover.

ACTIONS

Click to perform any actions on the Report.

You can perform following actions:

Icons

Action

Force refresh

Ensures that the most up-to-date values are displayed.

Enter fullscreen

Displays the Report in full screen for better visibility and presentation.

View query

To view the actual query which is used to run the report.

View as table

Switches the visual view to a data grid or tabular view.

Search the Data using Search text box on the top.

Edit the chart using Edit Chart option.

Displays the detailed information on Report.

Share

Share the report by email or copy the permalink to clipboard.

Download the report as an image or export to .CSV or Excel.

Access Reports from Charts

To access Asset by Floor Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management.

  2. Click Charts on the top panel and select AM_Asset by Floor Report to view the report.

  3. Report with edit option is displayed.
