Asset by Store Report

Article summary

The Assets by Store Report shows the count of Assets available in each Store. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

This report gives a comprehensive view of all the assets based on their asset categories in each store for a selected Tenant. The report has a graphical and a tabular view.

Usage

  • Improved Stock Visibility – Know exactly what assets are available at each store or stock location.

  • Faster Allocation – Quickly identify where available assets are located for assignment or dispatch.

  • Reduced Overstock or Shortages – Helps balance inventory levels across multiple stores or locations.

Example

The IT team in the Hyderabad office couldn’t fulfill a request for 10 monitors due to local stock unavailability. The Asset by Store report showed 15 spare monitors in the Chennai store, enabling a quick transfer and resolution.

Steps:

To view the Assets by Store Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Assets by Store Report.

  2. Click Filters on the Action panel to specify the filter criteria for generating the report.
    The FILTERS pop-up appears.

3. Enter or select the values for Filter fields as described in the following table.

Field

Description

Department

Select the Department from the list available. This is a mandatory field. For more details, view Tenant.

Location

Select the Store Location. Click to search for a specific store location. For more details, view Location.

Asset Status

Select the status of the asset.

  1. Click SUBMIT.
    The Assets by Store report is displayed. You get a graphical and tabular view of the report.

ACTIONS

You can perform following actions from the ACTIONS panel of the Assets by Store report page.

Icon

Action

Prints the page.

Exports the displayed records on the page to a Microsoft Excel sheet.

Exports the complete list of report records to a Microsoft Excel sheet.
