Searching Fixed Assets

You can search for specific Fixed Assets by specifying filter criteria on the SEARCH ASSET pop-up page.

To search for specific Fixed Assets, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Asset > User > Manage Asset > Asset Inventory > FIXED.
    The FIXED ASSET page is displayed. Click the Search Asset icon.

2. The SEARCH ASSET pop-up page is displayed. Specify the filter criteria to search for the specific Assets, and then click SEARCH. For more information about the fields on the SEARCH ASSET pop-up page, see Field Description.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the SEARCH ASSET pop-up page:

Field

Description

Tenant

Select the Tenant from the drop-down list to view the Assets.

Status

Select the Status from the drop-down list to view the Assets.

Category

Select the Category from the drop-down list to view the Assets.

Location

Select the Location from the list to view Assets belonging to that location. Click the Search icon to select the Location. On the LOCATION pop-up page, the Locations are displayed in the tree view. Use the Expand icon or click the Location name to expand the Location tree and select the required Location. You can also search for the required Location using the Search bar.

Note: If Enable Selection of the Parent Location check box is selected on the APPLICATION SETTINGS page, you can select only the Parent Location instead of Store/Floor. For more information about the fields on the APPLICATION SETTINGS page, see Configuring Asset Application Settings.

Search By

Specify the search criteria and specify the search value to get specific results.

If configured from the Asset Management Tenant configuration page, the custom attribute for all the assets are also listed in the drop-down list using which you can search assets. For more information about the configuration on the TENANT page, see Configuring Asset Management Module.

DETAILS

The DETAILS table displays the list of Assets and their details that are searched on the SEARCH ASSET pop-up page.

ACTIONS

This section explains all the icons displayed on the SEARCH ASSET pop-up page.

Filters

The following table describes the fields on the Filters pop-up.

Field

Description

TENANT

Select the Tenant from the drop-down list to view the Assets. This is a mandatory field

Status

Select the Status from the multi-select drop-down list.

Sub Status

Select Sub Status from the tree structure displayed.

Category

Select the Category. Multiple categories can be selected as per the requirement.

Location

Select the Location from the Location tree structure available.

Return

This field is displayed only if Status is selected as Allocated. Two Return options are available By User and By Request.

Allocated To

This field is displayed only if Status is selected as Allocated and Return is selected as By User. This is a mandatory field.

User/ Project / Contract User

These fields are displayed as per the selection in the Allocated To field. This is not a mandatory selection anymore.

Search By

Select the attribute from the list.

Search Value

Enter the specific value with which Search is to be done.

Asset Condition

Select the Asset condition.

PRINT TABLE

Click PRINT TABLE to print the displayed records.

EXPORT TO EXCEL

Click EXPORT TO EXCEL to export the records displayed on this page to a Microsoft Excel Sheet.

EXPORT ALL

Click EXPORT ALL to export all the records to a Microsoft Excel Sheet.
