The Warranty Report provides the detail of warranty periods of Assets under each selected Tenant. It displays the data in graphical and tabular form. Admin or Analyst can access the report based on access privileges assigned through roles.

Additional Information

The Warranty Report considers the time period of assets starting from 7 days to more than 1 year including the expired and not defined assets.

Steps to access Warranty Report

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management. The Dashboards window opens in a new tab

  2. Users are able to Filter the dashboards list by:

    1. Name – Search dashboards by name.

    2. Status – Filter by status (e.g., Published, Draft).

    3. Tag – Narrow results using tags (Asset Management).

    4. Favorite – Filter only favorite dashboards.

    5. Certified – Filter by certification status.

    6. Modified by – Show dashboards modified by a specific user.

  3. Each Dashboard entry contains the following columns:

    Field

    Name

    Title of the dashboard

    Status

    Current publishing state

    Tags

    Classification label

    Owners

    Displays the dashboard owner’s initials

    Last Modified

    Shows the last update time

    Actions

    • Edit – Modify dashboard properties.

    • Delete – Remove the dashboard.

    • Export/Share – Share the dashboard externally.

  4. Click + Dashboard to create a new Dashboard.

The AM_Warranty Report shows the warranty status of assets, categorized by asset type (Workstation, Switch, Server, Laptop, Desktop, etc.,). This helps users quickly identify which assets are under warranty, nearing expiry, or already expired.

To view the Warranty Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Fixed Assets Insights. The Fixed Assets Insights page is displayed.

  2. The Fixed Assets Insights page displays AM_Warranty Report along with the other reports.

    Each bar is divided into warranty categories, shown with color codes.

    A tooltip appears with a breakdown:

    1. Expired: Number and percentage of expired assets.

    2. 91 days – 1 year left: Number and percentage of assets nearing expiry.

    3. More than 1 year left: Number and percentage of assets still covered.

    4. Total: Overall count of that asset type

  3. Filters and Controls

    1. All / Inv: Use the All/Inv filter to refine the results. Toggle between all assets or only inventoried ones.

    2. Pagination (1/3): Navigate between report pages using the pagination control.

  4. Click on the vertical ellipsis to view the Report options.

    Description

    Force Refresh

    Select Force Refresh option to refresh the report.

    Enter Fullscreen

    Select Enter Fullscreen to view the report in a full screen mode.

    View Query

    Select View Query to view the query in a popup.

    Select View as Table to view the query in a tabular format.

    Drill to Detail

    Select Drill to Detail to drill down into detailed records behind a chart item.

    Share

    Click Share and select the below option:

    • Copy permalink to clipboard

    • Share chart by email

    Download

    Exports the report in available formats (e.g., CSV, Excel, PDF).

Access Reports from Charts

To Access Accessories by Store Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management.

  2. Click Charts on the top panel and select AM_Warranty Report to view the report.

  3. Report with edit option is displayed.
