The Inactive Asset Report provides you the list of Assets that are deactivated in the application. The count of assets are listed along with the deactivation reasons such as CPU Problem, Damaged, End of Life, Lost, Mother Board Issue, and so on.
Usage
Identify Underutilized Assets - Highlights assets sitting idle that could be redeployed or decommissioned.
Cost Savings - Helps avoid unnecessary purchases by reusing inactive assets.
Free Up Storage Space - Clears out unused equipment to optimize physical and digital storage.
Example
The IT team aims to cut costs related to IT assets for a specific quarter and needs to reduce the unnecessary purchase. The report highlights 30 laptops inactive for over a year. IT reclaimed and reassigned 20 of these to new employees, and retired the rest, saving on procurement costs and freeing storage space.
