Add Assets

You can add Assets by entering the required values or by using the QR code scan.

To add a Fixed Asset to Asset Inventory, perform the following steps:

  1. Open the Mobile application > Tap the Analyst icon> Tap the Add Assets icon.

  2. On the Add Assets page, select an Instance, Category, Template, Store, and Scan type. For more information about the fields on the Add Assets page, see Field Description. Tap Submit. The Asset is added for the selected parameters. You can also add the Assets by using QR code scan icon option.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the Add Assets page:

Category

Select the Asset Category for which you want to add an Asset.

Template

Select the Template. The fields are populated based on the data available in the selected Template.

Note

To view the fields in the selected template, tap icon.

Store

Select the Store to which you want to add the Asset.

Scan Type

Select the Scan Type from the list. Specify the required value in the text field and tap the Add icon. You can also tap the Scan icon to fetch the required details from the database.
