What is a License?

A License is a unique login id or e-mail id using which a user with Admin, Analyst, or End User access can log into the  application.

Types of Licenses

Licenses can be of two types: Named and Concurrent.

Named Licenses

A unique login id/e-mail id with Analyst role is considered as a Named User license. The customers cannot create Analyst records in the  application beyond the number of licenses purchased.

Concurrent Licenses

Any number of Analysts can be created in the  application. However, the number of Analysts who can access the  application at any given time (concurrently) is limited to the number of Concurrent Analyst licenses purchased. If all the available Concurrent Analyst licenses are consumed at any point of time, an Analyst can still access the Application with End User access.

  • Domain D1 comprises 2 Tenants: T1 and T2

  • Tenant T1 comprises 3 Workgroups: WG1, WG2, and WG3

  • Workgroup 1 comprises 2 Sub Workgroups: SWG1 and SWG2 and Workgroup 3 comprises 1 Sub Workgroup as SWG3

  • Domain D2 comprises 1 Tenant: T3

  • Tenant T3 comprises 2 Workgroups: WG 6, WG 7

  • Workgroup 6 comprises 1 Sub Workgroup as SWG4

  • Domain D3 comprises 1 Tenant: T4

Hence, the conclusion is that Analyst A1 can still log into the Application by leveraging on the Concurrent license available in Workgroup 4.
