The Asset Dashboard introduces a centralized view of all asset categories—Fixed Assets, Consumables, Accessories, Software, and Contracts—within a single interface. It enables organizations to monitor asset inventory, lifecycle status, and key metrics in real time, improving visibility, control, and decision-making across the asset ecosystem while ensuring role-based access to sensitive information.

Note

Asset Summary Dashboard appears only if the user has access to Asset Inventory.

Why does it matter?

Provides instant clarity on asset availability, utilization, and lifecycle status, enabling faster and more informed decisions. By consolidating critical insights into a single, role-secured view, it reduces operational overhead, prevents inefficiencies, and supports proactive asset management across the organization.

The tabs on the Dashboard, is displayed based on the option selected below:

Fixed Assets

The Fixed Assets tile displays an at-a-glance count of In-Store (IS), Allocated (AL), In-Repair (IR), and Inactive (IA) fixed assets, along with the total count at the top.

Different color coding is applied, as shown below.

Click Fixed Assets tile and it displays the following tabs along with the count:

  • Warranty Expired

  • Expiring in 10 Days

  • Expiring in 30 Days

  • Low Stock

  • Device Variance

  • Contacted > 30 Days

  • Pending User Actions

Field

Description

Warranty Expired

Displays the top five asset categories whose warranties have expired. This field provides a quick overview of assets that are no longer under warranty, helping teams prioritize renewals, maintenance planning, and risk mitigation.

Click a category count hyperlink, it redirects to a filtered list of the corresponding expired-warranty assets for detailed review.

Expiring in 10 Days

Displays the top five asset categories with warranties due to expire within the next 10 days. This field provides early visibility into upcoming expirations, enabling timely renewal actions, maintenance planning, and risk prevention.

Click a category count hyperlink, it redirects to a filtered list of assets approaching warranty expiry in 10 Days for detailed review.

Expiring in 30 Days

Displays the top five asset categories with warranties due to expire within the next 30 days. This field provides early visibility into upcoming expirations, enabling timely renewal actions, maintenance planning, and risk prevention.

Click a category count hyperlink, it redirects to a filtered list of assets approaching warranty expiry in 30 Days for detailed review.

Low Stock

Displays the top five category–location combinations with the highest variance between Minimum Stock and Current Stock, ordered by variance count.

This highlights areas with the most significant stock shortages to support timely replenishment and inventory control.

In case of equal variance values, records are sorted alphabetically by category name.

Device Variance

Displays the top five asset categories with the highest hardware device variance, based on the configured category display order. The tab count reflects hardware variance only and excludes any software-related variance.

In cases where variance values are equal, categories are sorted alphabetically by category name.

Click a count hyperlink, it redirects to a filtered list of assets with Hardware or Software Variance for detailed review.

Contacted > 30 Days

Displays asset categories with assets that have not communicated for more than 30 days due to unavailability.

Pending User Actions

Displays asset categories with counts that require action, helping teams quickly identify priority areas and take timely corrective measures.

It can be any pending action on Accept, Reject or Return of the Asset.

Note

The top five categories are displayed based on the configuration done for  

If a configured category has zero count, it is automatically skipped and replaced by the next category with a non-zero count.

Each category tile is interactive clicking a count redirects users to the corresponding List page with predefined filters applied, enabling quick access to detailed records.

Consumables

The Consumables tile displays an at-a-glance count of In-Store (IS), Allocated (AL), and Inactive (IA) consumables, along with the total count at the top.

  • Low Stock

Field

Field

Description

License Expired

Displays the expired licenses with store location and license count with the start date and end date of the contract. It helps in quickly identifying expired licenses by location, enabling timely renewals, compliance management, and prevention of software usage risks.

Software Variance

Displays software variance by category along with discrepancy counts, helping identify mismatches between expected and actual software installations for improved compliance and license management.

Software Non Compliance

Displays software license compliance details—including license name, procured licenses, valid licenses, installed licenses, and shortfall count —helping identify compliance gaps and take corrective action to avoid risks.

Pending User Actions

Contracts

The Contracts tile displays an at-a-glance count of Draft Contracts (IS), and Approved Contracts (AL) along with the total count at the top.

  • Contract Expired

Field

Description

Contract Expired

Displays the top five asset contracts with the start date and end date of the contract. Click Contract ID hyperlink, it redirects to the Contract ID Details page. It helps quickly identify categories with lapsed contracts, enabling immediate renewal actions.

Click View All to display all records on Contract Management List page.

Expiring in 10 Days

Displays the top five asset contracts due to expire within the next 10 days. This field provides advance insight into contracts nearing expiration and enabling timely renewals.

Expiring in 30 Days

Displays the top five asset contracts due to expire within the next 30 days. This field provides advance insight into contracts nearing expiration and enabling timely renewals.

By Category

Displays a list of categories along with the number of contracts associated with each category. Click count hyperlink, it redirects to the Contract Management List page.

Note

This tab is visible only if Category and Vendor fields are enabled under Contract Field Settings section on Application Settings by Tenant page for Asset Management.

Navigate to Asset > Configuration > Others > Application Settings. Click Configure by Tenant in right action panel. The Application Settings By Tenant page is displayed.

By Vendor

Displays a list of vendors along with the number of contracts associated with each vendor. Click count hyperlink, it redirects to the Contract Management List page.

Note

This tab is visible only if Category and Vendor fields are enabled under Contract Field Settings section on Application Settings by Tenant page for Asset Management.

Navigate to Asset > Configuration > Others > Application Settings. Click Configure by Tenant in right action panel. The Application Settings By Tenant page is displayed.

Reports

Reports on the dashboard provide a consolidated, real-time view of key metrics and trends, enabling stakeholders to monitor performance.

This section displays the following reports:

  • Asset Attribute Insights

  • Asset Master and Warranty

  • Asset Reconciliation

  • Asset Summary and Location

  • Discovery and Agent Status

  • Maker Checker

  • Software Usage

  • User Action

Click any report to view the corresponding report for more information. It provides actionable insights to quickly identify priorities and support informed decision-making.

Note

  • Categories are displayed according to the top five display orders defined in the Asset Form Builder for the Dashboard Display Order field while configuring the category.

  • If the Dashboard Display Order, for two categories is same, then the category with highest record count gets displayed on the Asset Dashboard.

  • If the Dashboard Display Order is not configured, then the categories are displayed based on the highest records count.
