The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU) and the European Economic Area (EEA) to give users more control over their personal data. With Alps release, application is GDPR-compliant.
To configure GDPR, perform the following steps:
Click Admin > GDPR > GDPR Configuration. The GDPR Configuration page is displayed.

Figure: GDPR Configuration pageUnder the Details section, GDPR Status Information is provided. Based on whether GDPR is enabled/disabled, the following message is displayed: GDPR is Enabled/Not Enabled on this instance of the Application at hh:mm:ss on yyyy/mm/dd.
If GDPR is disabled, the information about enabling GDPR is displayed on the Enabling GDPR pop-up page, which appears when you click the “i” icon. Whereas, if GDPR is enabled, the information about disabling GDPR is displayed on the Disabling GDPR pop-up page, which appears when you click the “i” icon.

Following tabs are displayed on the GDPR Configuration page:
Location Mapping
Under the Location Mapping tab, you can enable GDPR only for a selected Location by specifying the Domain and Location. The following table describes the fields under the Location Mapping tab:

Domain | To enable GDPR for a preferred Location you should select a Domain name from the Domain drop-down list. |
Location | If you select the Domain and Location from the Domain and Location drop-down list, GDPR will only be enabled for the selected Location present in the selected Domain. Select a preferred Location name from the Location drop-down list. Note:

Under the Admin Mapping tab, you can add Administrators so that they can receive notifications when a user accepts or declines the GDPR Consent Form. The following table describes the fields under the Admin Mapping tab:

User | Under the Admin Mapping tab, you can map users as Administrators for GDPR. In the text area of the User field, type in the name, e-mail, or contact number of the user you want to map as the Administrator for GDPR. Then, click Add. You can also click the Search icon to search users. On clicking the icon, the Select User pop-page is displayed. Type in the name, e-mail, or contact number of the user, and click Ok. Then, click Add. |

Note
After GDPR is enabled, you need to configure at least one user as an Administrator under the Admin Mapping tab.
Messages
Under the Messages tab, the Administrators can select and edit the GDPR related messages, such as GDPR Acceptance Message, Confirm GDPR Acceptance Message, etc. The following table describes the fields under the Messages tab:

Pop-up | Under the Messages tab, the Administrators can select any pop-up message (GDPR Acceptance, GDPR Re-acceptance, Enabling/Disabling GDPR) related to GDPR and edit the Title and content of the selected Message. While editing the message displayed on the GDPR Re-acceptance pop-up window, if you remove the ##DeclinedOn## keyword, the last date and time when GDPR was declined, is not displayed. |
