Report Usage

This provides a detailed record of each device eligible for Microsoft EA, supporting accurate compliance tracking, software deployment analysis, and licensing management.

During a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement true-up cycle, the Asset Management team uses the Eligible Devices Detail (Microsoft EA) report to identify all qualifying desktops and servers across branch offices and data centers to ensure accurate license counting and avoid compliance penalties. This report also helps infrastructure managers validate installation status before onboarding new devices, enabling proactive license planning and cost optimization under the EA contract.

Steps:

To view the Microsoft EA- Eligible Devices Detail report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Search or Select the report name.
    The Dashboards page is displayed.

Use filter icon to refine the report results based on selected criteria and display only relevant records.
