Prompt-to-Report Interface

The Prompt-to-Report Interface provides an AI-powered chat experience that enables you to enter reporting requirements using natural language. It includes the AI Chat Panel for submitting and refining requests and the Report Preview Panel for reviewing generated reports.

Prompt to Report Chat Panel

The AI Chat Panel enables users to interact with the AI, review suggested reports, and select report links to view the corresponding report in the Report Preview Panel.

Suggested Prompts

Suggested prompts provide examples of reporting requests that can be submitted to Prompt-to-Report.
For example;

  1. Show the top 5 incident records grouped by status — Displays the top five incident records based on the specified criteria.

  2. Show monthly ticket volume by priority for the last 6 months — Displays ticket volume trends by priority for each month.

  3. Find the incident dashboard — Searches for and displays relevant incident dashboards.

Prompt Input Field

Allows users to enter reporting requirements or questions using natural language. Click the to submit the prompt to Prompt-to-Report for processing. The AI displays relevant report names as clickable links in the Prompt-to-Report Chat Panel, allowing users to select a report and preview it.

Report Preview Panel

Displays the selected or generated report details and visualization for review in the Preview section.

The following options are available in the Preview section:

Displays the selected or generated report, including its details and visualization, for review in the Report Preview Panel.

Closes the report preview and returns to the Prompt-to-Report Chat Panel.
