Reporting Access Sync, helps in reducing manual effort and ensures data consistency, across Reporting Database and Apex Database. This introduces automated synchronization of reporting users between the Reporting System and the Apex database. By ensuring that user data is consistently updated across both platforms, the system eliminates discrepancies and strengthens overall reliability.

Steps

To sync the users from Reporting DB to Apex DB, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to the Apex application as an Admin.

  2. Navigate to Workspace > Admin > Users > General > User List.
    The following screen displays the user list, with an option on the Action panel on right with Reporting Access Sync.

  3. Click Reporting Access Sync on the right-side action panel to sync the Reporting users with the application.
    A confirmation message as follows is displayed indicating that successful sync of users along with the count.
    This completes the users sync from Reporting to Apex application, which helps unification of all users and reduces manual effort.
