Import

Prerequisite

Export the JSON configuration file into a blob link URL. For more information, refer to Export.

Import Update Set

Once the Master Data is exported to a blob link it must be imported on a production instance to take effect.

To Import the blob link on a production instance, perform the following steps:

1. In the Platform Studio, navigate to Update Set > Import.
   The Import screen is displayed.

2. Enter the copied URL in the field area and click Read.

   The following table provides details about the

   Field	Description
   Start Date	Indicate the start date from when the data must be imported.
   End Date	Indicate the end date till when it must be considered for import.
   Table Name	Display the name of the modified tables that are imported in the production instance.
   Modified Count	Display The total count of records that have been modified in each of these tables.
   Last Updated	Display the last updated time of each Table.

3. Click Import to successfully import, initially a progress message is displayed then the success information.

   Note

   The system automatically reads from the application copy and displays all the data which is ready to Import.

   
   Now, all the exported data in the pre-production instance that’s available in the blob can be Imported. This brings in the state of equality in the pre-production and production instances.
   

   It is the master data that gets imported.
