Barcode Template configuration is a critical step in setting up barcode systems, allowing administrators to create customized templates tailored for each asset type. Configure Barcode Template
To configure Barcode Template, perform the following steps:
Navigate to Design Studio > Asset Management Module > Configurations > Configurations > Barcode Template.
On the Barcode Template List page, click New to create a new configuration.

Provide all the required details as shown below. Click Save to save the new configuration. The newly created configuration will be displayed on the Barcode Template List page.

Field Description
This table contains the list of fields and their descriptions that are available under Barcode Template Details page:

Configure Template | |
Department | Select the Department from the list. The Department configured for Asset Management is displayed. |
Configuration for | Choose the asset type (Fixed Assets|Accessories|Consumables) for which the barcode configuration must be defined. |
Configuration Name | Enter a suitable configuration name. |
Category | Select the required asset category.

Template Type | Choose the template type from the available options - Allocation Form, Barcode Label. |
Store | Select the required store from the drop-down.
|
Template Name | Select the required template name from the drop-down. |
Is Active | Enable this toggle switch to make this configuration active. |

Barcode Type | Choose the barcode type from available options - ISBN barcode, QR Code. |
Space Between Labels | Mention the space to be maintained between labels in pixel format. Example - 10px. |
Number of Labels Per Row | Mention the number of labels to be displayed per row. |
QR Code Size | Mention the QR code size. |
Space Before Right Label | Mention the space to be maintained before right label in pixel format. Example - 10px. |
