An application consists of various modules that collectively deliver a service and provides related information. It will allow you to perform a specific task and to commonly performed business functions to the multiple users. Multiple applications can be created from a single platform.

You can configure which applications appear in the Applications menu. It provides the access to all applications. You can quickly find the information and related modules.

John is an Application Designer who is tasked with setting up the Application and Application Groups for ACME to manage and streamline the recruitment process.

John the application designer will create a single-user interface for the following operations related to HRMS,

New joiners onboarding
Employee Details

To achieve this John the application designer creates an application group named HRMS to manage the applications named "New Joiner" and "Employee Details". Along with an application group named HRMS to manage the applications.

Best Practice: You can edit an application at any time. For major editions or changes in an application, we recommend you to deactivate the application first.
