Allocated Asset Summary Report

The Allocated Asset Summary Report provides a consolidated overview of assets across the organization by summarizing assets that are Allocated, In‑Store, In‑Repair, and De‑active. Users can refine the report by selecting an Asset Category, allowing them to focus on specific asset types such as Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Servers, Network Devices, and more.

When a category filter is applied, the system displays only the assets belonging to the selected category, showing the distribution across all lifecycle states using both graphical and tabular formats. This helps users quickly analyze the volume, location, and status of assets of that category within the selected Tenant and Location.

Usage

• View consolidated asset distribution across the enterprise.

• Analyze asset states to support audits and lifecycle planning.

• Drill into category‑wise or customer‑wise asset distributions.

• Access detailed lists of Allocated, In‑Store, In‑Repair, or De‑active assets.

Example

The IT Asset Manager needs to ensure that all laptops required for an upcoming store launch are available and in working condition. By applying the Laptop category filter and selecting the specific Tenant and Location, the manager uses the Allocated Asset Summary Report to instantly view how many laptops are Allocated, In‑Store, In‑Repair, or De‑active.

View Report

To view the report, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management > Asset Summary and Location Dashboard.
   The Dashboards page is displayed.

2. Click Asset Summary and Location Dashboard to view Allocated Asset Summary Report.

   You are enabled to search the required asset using the Search text box.

   The following table describes the column displayed on the Allocated Asset Summary Report.

   Column Name	Description
   Asset ID	Unique identifier assigned to each asset in the system.
   Asset_Code	Internal or organizational asset code/tag used for tracking.
   Sitem / Site Name	The location/site where the asset belongs (example: store, office).
   Location	Geographic or organizational location of the asset.
   Asset_Status	Current status of the asset (example: Allocated).
   Sub_Status_Name	Additional or secondary status details (e.g., N/A if not applicable).
   Machine_Issu_Name	Name of the machine or device model issued (example: Lenovo, etc.).
   Machine_Serial_Number	Serial number of the machine/device.
   Asset_Category	Category/type of asset (example: Laptop, Barcode Printer).
   User_Name	Name of the user the asset is allocated to.
   Employee_ID	Employee identification number of the asset holder.
   User_Email_ID	Email ID of the user (if provided).
   Allocate_To	Specifies who the asset is allocated to (example: Single User, Location).
   Acceptance_Status	Indicates whether the user has accepted the asset (example: Pending for Acceptance, Accepted).
   User_Comment	Additional remarks provided by the user regarding the asset.
   Allocated_Date	Date when the asset was allocated.

   
   

3. You can perform the following actions on the Report using the vertical ellipsis.

   Menu Option	Action
   Force refresh	Ensures that the most up-to-date values are displayed.
   Enter fullscreen	Displays the Report in full screen for better visibility and presentation.
   View query	To view the actual query which is used to run the report.
   View as table	Switches the visual view to a data grid or tabular view. Search the Data using Search text box on the top. Edit the chart using Edit Chart option at the bottom right of the page. Figure: Chart Data
   Share	Share the report by email or copy the permalink to clipboard. Figure: Share
   Download	Download the report as an image or export to .CSV or Excel. Figure: Download

Filters

Use the filters such as Software Name, Software Vendor, Asset ID, Machine Host Name, or Asset_Category in order to display the filtered data on the Report as per your requirement.
