The Asset Deployment Count by Location Report displays the number of assets deployed at each location, grouped by asset category, using a horizontal bar chart to visualize distribution across sites.

Usage

  • Helps understand how assets are distributed across locations

  • Identifies locations with surplus or shortage of specific asset categories

  • Improves visibility for capacity and operational planning

Example

An IT operations team reviews the chart and notices that one branch has significantly fewer Desktops compared to others. They arrange a transfer from a nearby location with surplus units.

The branch receives the required Desktop promptly, preventing workflow disruptions and ensuring uninterrupted business operations.

Steps:

To view the Asset Deployment Count by Location Report, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Reports > Asset Management. The Dashboards page is displayed.

  2. Click Asset Summary and Location Dashboard. The Asset Deployment Count by Location Report gets displayed on the Asset Summary and Location Dashboard.

    Displays location-wise asset counts as a tooltip when the user hovers over any bar in the chart, enabling quick visibility of asset distribution across locations without opening a separate report.

    You can perform the following actions on the Report using the icon.

    Action

    Force refresh

    Ensures that the most up-to-date values are displayed.

    Enter fullscreen

    Displays the Report in full screen for better visibility and presentation.

    View query

    To view the actual query which is used to run the report.

    View as table

    Switches the visual view to a data grid or tabular view.

    Search the Data using Search text box on the top.

    Edit the chart using Edit Chart option.

    Share the report by email or copy the permalink to clipboard.

    Download the report as an image or export to .CSV or Excel.

Filters

Use the filters such as Tenant, Location or Data Range to the display the filtered data on the Report as per your requirement.
