You can configure Notifications for a specific Classification of CI. When it is configured, an e-mail is sent to the configured users for any change in the CI.

To configure a notification, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to CMDB > Import > Configuration > Notification.

  2. Select the required Department.

  3. Click ADD NEW on the ACTIONS panel.
    The NOTIFICATION page is displayed.

  4. Enter the required details.

Field Description

The following table explains the fields on the Notification page.

Description

Classification

Click to select the classification.

Active

Select the check box to activate the configuration.

Resource

Click  to add the user to be notified. Alternately, you can type in the name and select the user from the available option in the drop-down.

Actions

This section explains all the icons displayed on the Actions panel of the Notification page.

Show List

Click Show List to display the List table showing all the configured notifications.
