Log Service Request (SR)

You can log Service Requests (SRs) related to various requirements, such as laptop requests, RAM upgrade request, keyboard request, software installation request, or information about leave policy, and so on.

To log a SR, perform the following steps:

  1. On the Home screen, tap the New Service Request icon.

  2. Select the Department from the list.

  3. Select an Instance and Service Category.
    The list of configured Service Catalogs is displayed.

  4. Tap on the required Service Catalog.

  5. Provide remarks and then tap Next. If no Approver is configured for the selected Service Catalog, the Next is not displayed, and the Submit is enabled. Tap Submit to log the SR.

  6. Select the Approver and then tap Submit.

Note

The fields displayed above are based on the selected Service Catalog. The Administrators can configure the fields in the Service Catalog on the Form Builder page of the Web Application.

Field Description

The following table describes the fields on the SR Details page:

Description

Category

Displays the name of the Service Category to which the selected Service Catalog belongs.

Catalog Name

Displays the name of the selected Service Catalog.

Catalog Description

Displays the description of the selected Service Catalog.

Remarks

Specify the remarks for the SR.

Number of Approvals

Displays the number of approval levels configured for the selected Service Catalog. The level‐wise Approver names are displayed accordingly.

Note

The newly logged SRs can be approved in parallel by approvers configured at the same level of approval.
