Improvements
The following section provides details of improvements in Service Automation v8.2:
Improvement Name | Improvement Description | Benefits |
|---|---|---|
Enhanced Backend Automation Using ELS & Execution Service User Persona: Admin | ELS (Event Listener Service) and Execution Service operate as backend Windows services that automate workflow handling in the Apex Application. ELS captures workflow‑triggering events from RabbitMQ, identifies the configured workflow for the selected Catalog, and stores workflow metadata in the database. Execution Service then executes the workflow when the Service Request meets all licensing conditions—ensuring that workflows do not run if licenses are expired or overutilized. For more information, refer Other Enhancements. |
|
Configurable Notification Rules for License Usage - 100% License Usage Notification Threshold User Persona: Admin | Users can now select the 100% usage threshold when configuring License Usage notifications. This enhancement allows administrators to define alerts that trigger precisely when license consumption reaches full utilization and specify recipients in the To field who will receive these 100%‑threshold notifications. For more information, refer Notification Rules. |
