Efficiently manage various Asset Types!

View, edit, filter, and update the configured Asset Types for IT Asset Management to enhance asset tracking, management, maintenance, and depreciation. This enables Administrators to modify and refine pre-configured asset types, offering additional flexibility for customization and adjustments.

View

You can view the list of configured Asset Types using the following options:

To view the list of configured Asset Types and view any specific Asset Type, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Asset Management > Select the role as Administrator.
  2. Select Module > Asset Management > Configurations > Configurations > Asset Type.
  3. The Asset Type List page is displayed. A sample screenshot is shown below:

    A specific list of Asset Types can be viewed based on applied filters or search criteria.

  4. Click icon to view the details of the configured Pending Reason. (Refer the below sample screenshot)

  5. The Asset Type summary pop-up is displayed. Click Cancel to close the summary pop-up and return to the Asset Type List page.

  6. Click icon to view the Asset Type details in a new tab or a new window.

  7. The Asset Type details page is displayed. Click Reset to clear all the filed in details. Click Cancel to exit the process and go back to the list page without making any changes. Click Save to save the updated information on the Asset Type details page.

Grid

Manage how you want to view the list of configured Asset Types using two different views.

To view the configured Asset Types List page in different views, perform the following steps. 

  1. On the Asset Type List page, click Grid icon on the top right corner just above the list of forms. It displays all configured Asset Types in a grid view. The information for an individual Asset Type is displayed in tabular form.
  2. On the Asset Type List page, click List icon on the top right corner just above the list of forms. It displays all configured Asset Types in a list view.

Filters

You have the provision to apply filters on all of the columns or an individual column. This functionality allows you to control the exclusion or inclusion of specific data as per your requirement. You can focus on the required data for better analysis. You can apply filters on individual columns as well as per your requirements.

To apply filters on individual columns, perform the following steps:

  1. On the list page, click the filter associated with the individual column to sort the details in the column as per the requirement.

  2.  Specify the filter criteria based on your requirements.

  3. Click the Filter icon to view the following filter options. Select the Match All or Match Any option from the list to filter the data based on the condition selected. The Match All option is selected, by default.

  4. Select the option to compare the data based on the conditions. Available options are as follows:
    • Starts With
    • Contains
    • Not contains
    • Ends with
    • Equals
    • Not equals
    • Less than
    • Less than or equal to
    • Greater than
    • Greater than or equal to
    • Date is 
    • Date is not
    • Date is before
    • Date is after
    • Active
    • Not Active
      Note
      The following filter options are available for numeric column values:
      • Less than
      • Less than or equal to
      • Greater than
      • Greater than or equal to

      The following filter options are available for date column values:

      • Date is 
      • Date is not
      • Date is before
      • Date is after

      The following filter options are available for the Active toggle switch:

      • Active
      • Not Active 
  5. You can click Clear to clear the configured filter and click Apply to set the filter conditions.
  6. You have the flexibility to customize the appearance and order of columns on the Asset Type List page by simply clicking the Show Columns icon.

  7. You can easily change the order of columns by dragging them up or down as needed.

  8. Customize the columns to be displayed on the Asset Type list page by selecting or deselecting them using the checkboxes.

  9. Click Save to save the new view of columns. Click Cancel to revert all the changes made and close the pop-up. Click Clear All to remove all the applied column view settings.

Search

Search function enables you to search the configured Asset Type. In the search field, enter the specific Asset ID, Description, or any other details of the Asset Type that you want to search. The application displays all the records that match the inputs.

Click (close icon) to clear the entered searched criteria.

Edit

Edit option allows you to modify the details of a configured Asset Type according to your specific requirements.

To edit a configured Asset Type, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Design Studio > Asset Management Module > Configurations > Configurations > Asset Type.
    The Asset Type List page is displayed.

  2. Click the desired ID hyperlink to edit the Asset Type configuration. Do the changes as per requirement and click Save to save the latest changes.

Export

Export records of the current list page or records of all the pages by clicking icon.

Once you clickicon, the following options are displayed. Click Export Current Page to export the data displayed on the current page. Click Export All to export data of all the configured Asset Types.
